Well, I would have a a few bottles of frozen water and 4 hours later it starts to defrost so they’re not icy anymore so I don’t think as well insulated. Like it literally defrosted as if it was out sitting on the table.

This is a great lunch bag backpack. Easily holds several containers for lunch and snacks. Though it’s advertised as leak- proof, the construction is obviously not leak-proof. The plastic lining is not one solid piece and there are seams. Where there are seams you will have leakage! Use ice packs and you’ll be fine!

Beautiful and super well insulated, this backpack looks like a simple backpack when you're wearing it. Putting the papers in the front pocket keeps them separate. It's great. It's a very comfortable backpack. Insulation inside is thick and cooler. It's big enough for three people to have a picnic.

I've now purchased 4 of these for our family camping trips, car trips, bike hikes, and trips to the beach. That should tell you something... Repeat customer. These insulated back packs are just the right size, seem well made, and do what they are supposed to do. I recommend using medium sized freeze packs (not ice cubes) in between what you want to keep cold and small freeze packs on the top of them. Remember, cold air always sinks. Before we zip the backpack closed, we always put a thick dish towel or a hand towel on top of the contents for extra insulation. Sometimes, we also freeze bottles of Gatorade or water and use those for cooling and to drink as they thaw. On a hot summer's day, things stay cool for 4-5 hours. Good product.

I love this insulated cooler backpack! I have used it to keep food and liquids cold on hot day trips in the car to enjoy boating on lakes. I have packed 3 water bottles, a variety of canned beers, and lunch food including fruit and egg salad with about 4 cold packs for a day trip from Seattle to Mt. St. Helens (3 hours driving, followed by 6 hours in our boat, and another 3 hours return journey) on an ~80 degree F day and everything stayed nice and chilly the from start to finish. Depending on how many cold packs you put it in, that will impact how much room you have for food and drinks but this backpack can really hold a lot! There are two additional non-insulated zipped pockets on the front that are perfect for napkins, hand sanitizer, or cutlery.

It��s a nice sturdy backpack, good padding, and leak proof. We took it on a 4 mile hike, several days out to the baseball field and it holds up perfectly. Leak proof. We pack it with 16 plus waters and lunch for a family of 6 everything fits just fine. I would recommend getting the ice packs. They hold up all day and keep things ice cold.

I bought this for a New York City day trip in very hot.[100 heat index] Kept 7 16 oz bottles of water cold most of the day with 2 small cooler packs and [ 4] 9 x1.5 inch cooler sticks.I was very satisfied with this product really worked well...but don't expect miracles ! It served its purpose for our needs .Do you know how much a bottle of water costs in New York City? $10 dollars !

I used this bag to go to an outdoor camping. It was big enough to carry multiple bottles of water, ice packs, chips, a small hoodie, cups and wallet. The drinks weren��t frozen before hand but remained cold for not only the duration of the outing but also into the next day I didn��t fill it with ice, just the ice packs and didn��t have any issues with leakage or walking around with a cold back. I think if you want to fill it with ice maybe get a cooler to keep from having leakage as some people have posted�� it��s a book bag at the end of the day. I would definitely recommend.

This one is slightly smaller than our other one and has become our daily use. We love it! Very good quality, does everything we need. Can fit drinks and ice cream easily, and also has room for wallets, phones, sunscreen, bug spray, sunglasses, etc. We can fit a lot and the padding on our back is also great while lugging around water bottles and snacks. So much better than your average backpack.

I was using an backpack cooler to take my meals and water to work . This backpack is less awkward looking, more comfortable, cheaper, and works just as well. No frills. If you��re looking for a regular type backpack that keeps stuff cool all day (with ice pack) this is it. Also, all my stuff weighs about 25 lbs. and this seems to strain less under weight than my old ruck sack. I dig straightforward design so I dig this.

I bought this backpack to use on an overnight fishing trip. It worked out great. I bought the same brand ice packs and with the bag it was enough to keep an 18 pack of beer nice and cold overnight and into the next day while we were fishing. Unlike some other reviews that the bag leaked one of my beer cans somehow popped and there was beer all in the backpack. Not a single drop of beer leaked out. We��ll see how it holds up in the future but it worked great for what I needed.

Ice pack are usually still cold 7-8 hours later when we get home. Have had no leak issues, but we also only use ice packs. There is enough space for out little family of 5 to take some snacks and PB&J's to the parks with use, even a couple bottles of water. There is more space in the front pockets than I thought there would be. Its handles it all; sunscreen, sanitizers, keys, tissues, etc. All the items we need to take with us!!

I love this bag and I feel like my entire work is sponsored by them bc we all have them. I work a 10 hour shift and take a lot of food and snacks, plus a half gallon insulated water bottle. Regular back packs were not ideal to try and fit a lunch box and my water and the other necessary items I needed. But this has done the trick so far! The pocket in the front is a great size and I feel like it fits all of my little "extras" just perfectly. Because I use it for work, I'd love a zip pocket in the back for a laptop or papers but that's just specific to me bringing this to work everyday. I highly recommend this backpack!

It might be too soon to write a review but I love the backpack so much I can��t help it! First thing I noticed was that the material is very durable felt like a back pack that is worth more than $30. Second was that it was super comfy to wear than my previous backpack and that it felt more light weight (I emptied everything from my old backpack into the new one too!). This pack had a ton of space in the main compartment! I used it to pack my lunch and some snacks and threw in my jacket and it didn��t look like I over filled it at all!! I��m a night shift nurse so I enjoyed having the large compartment for my dinner and plenty of snacks. I found the two pockets on the side for drinks very helpful since I run on water and coffee! The two other compartments are great for holding my badge, pens, stethoscope, keys and heck more snacks?! Love that I can carry everything that I need in one bag instead of two! I also drive over an hour to get to work so the insulation is a plus!! Fingers crossed that the backpack holds up to this review :)

This Insulated bag is best suited for picnics as the volume does not allow for a long hike requiring you to carry various accessories and clothing, especially since you need to add a cool pack to keep cool. However, it is a very useful bag that decorates a small picnic lunch perfectly.

I always put two blocks of ice and my 1.5 liter bottle, a fruit, a tupperware everything stays cool from 6am to 1pm despite the heat from my truck. But it is almost impossible to fit anything else if you have more than three 1.5 liter bottles and two ice packs

I bought this bag for hiking and going to work. Freshness is kept at the top. Laptops fit neatly into the non-refrigerated front pocket, and the pocket can store a lot. Ice packs are not required because it is fresh at the top.
